InPage Publisher FAQ Publisher FAQ

Publishers: When will I get paid? When will I get paid?

InPage pays when your earnings have reached the maturation period. Payments are processed once per month, at the beginning of the month. Payments are made either by cheque or bank transfer once we have validated your earnings and the payment criteria has been met. InPage begins the validation and collection process during the first week of the month on the previous month's earnings, once we complete this process we send payment a couple of weeks later.

This means should you meet the payment criteria you will receive your payment around the end of the month following the earnings period.

Payments by Cheque:
U.S. addresses: cheques typically arrive within 7 to 10 business days.
International addresses, it can take up to 21 business days for your cheque to arrive.

Account Balances:
Should your account balance not have met the payment criteria, we will roll your earnings over to the following month.

Remittance information:
Publishers are required to complete all remittance information in their account profile. InPage will hold and roll over earnings on accounts that contain incomplete information.

Terms and Conditions or Policies:
A publishers account that violates our Terms and Conditions or Policies may be placed on hold and payment suspended from the date that InPage begins its investigations into potential violations. Based on the findings of the investigation, InPage may charge back the publishers account, and/or refund advertisers for clicks received on the publishers site. Publishers found to serve, promote, distribute, link to and/or support Viruses, Malware and Spyware will forfeit all unpaid earnings. InPage maintains a zero tolerance policy in this regard.

Publishers: Should I submit a Tax Number?Should I submit a "Tax Number"?

Depending on your location, you may be required to provide certain information for tax purposes. Currently Tax numbers are for US tax purposes only. If you are a U.S.  Citizen or Business you are required to enter a valid Tax ID. If you are an international publisher, then you can leave that part of the form blank.

Publishers: What should I put in the "Make checks payable to" field?

You should put the name of the person or company that will be cashing or depositing the cheque payments for your account. Please ensure that this field is correctly populated as your bank may not accept payments containing misspelt or incomplete information.

Publishers: What are the InPage payment criteria? What are the InPage payment criteria?

There are several factors that may determine your eligibility to be paid for your InPage earnings and vary according to your selected currency. Currently we only support U.S. Dollars; payouts are made when unpaid earnings exceed U.S. $100

Payment Minimums:
InPage requires that active accounts meet a minimum payment ceiling before payments are made. InPage does not issue payments below the payment ceiling set for your currency as bank charges and fees can exceed the payment amount.

You will be paid out once your unpaid earnings reach the payment minimums and there are no holds on your account. Payment minimums are based on your selected currency.

Account Cancellation:
InPage does not issue payments below the payment ceiling set for your currency as bank charges and fees can exceed the payment amount. Should you choose to cancel your account below the payment ceiling you will forfeit the unpaid earnings.

Cancelled accounts with earnings above the payment ceiling will receive payment approximately 90 days from the end of the month of cancellation.

Publishers: How do I generate earnings from InPageAds?How do I generate earnings from InPageAds?

All ads in the InPage ad network are paid out at an effective CPM rate.

CPM (cost per thousand impressions). An impression is the number of times an ad is displayed and you earn for every 1000 views on an ad. IAS ads are paid out on the same basis but command higher CPM's meaning you will earn more.

Pricing is determined by the amount of inventory available on your site and the competition between advertisers to appear on your site. InPage automatically optimizes the ads matched to your site so that the highest paying ad available is displayed.

You may elect to make use of our Rate Card Manager to set your own CPM's and determine your own earnings. Rate Card keys must be shared with an advertiser before they can advertise in your site.

Publishers: Can I use other ad networks in addition to InPage? Can I use other ad networks in addition to InPage?

InPage allows you to utilize multiple ad networks on the same sites, we have no policy against this. Publishers are welcome to serve ads from other ad networks and have the flexibility to utilize our free ad rotation service to serve either their own ads for their own use or they may elect to serve a combination of both.

Many of our clients use our service to rotate their own advertising and/or to rotate ads from other ad networks. This allows you to maximise revenue and set the right combination that works for you. We recommend you contact your secondary ad networks directly for their specific policies regarding multiple networks before using their scripts within InPage.

To enable this feature log-in to InTouch
- go to "Advert Management"
- Click the "Upload An Advert" button and follow the steps.

We recommend that you save your secondary ad network ad scripts as a HTML file prior to beginning this process. To do this, open a Notepad editor, paste the full secondary ad network script into the blank page and save the file with a relevant name. e.g. AdNet2_468x60.htm

Please note that clicks or earnings from your secondary ad network will not be reflected in your InPage account or statistics.

Publishers: How do I improve my InPageAds earnings? How do I improve my InPageAds earnings?

InPage targets advertising based on advertiser requests and requirements, certain countries are targeted more by some advertisers than others. For this reason focusing your attention on visitors from the larger countries will attract more visitors and thus more income.

Ads should be clearly visible and should be placed towards the top of your pages; ads should be placed in the direction of your text. If your site is in a language that is read from left to right, your ads should predominantly be placed on the right.

InPage allows you to select multiple sizes when configuring your ad script; this should be used in places where your site will accommodate variable sizes. For example:  a sites design may allow for the placement of a 300x250 ad unit as well as a 250x250 without interfering with the display of your content.

The same applies to content channels, InPage allows the selection of multiple content channels, but it is important that you match your selected content channels to the content in your site, select content channels that compliment your sites target audience. For example if your site is a source of recipes and cooking information, you should select content channels relating to Food and Beverages. Ads that match content earn higher conversion ratios and click through's and you will too.

IAS ads command higher CPS's than banner ads, when combined IAS ads improve banner visibility and click through ratios, the installation of our IAS software on your web server will enable this format, it will increase your ad inventory and your site ' s appeal to advertisers. You can select where IAS ads display in your site, you might want to place them between high traffic areas. For example a News site may place IAS ads between the sites various sections, at the same time targeting the content channel to match the requested page. Visitors clicking from the main news page to the sports section will be displayed sports advertising, the ads on the landing page can be sequenced to match the IAS ad.
